So what about those sorts that are done under water? well the most common option here would most certainly be scuba diving. This is possibly less of a water sports and more or a recreational activity that people will commonly do on holiday. People are fascinated by what lies beneath the surface of the water, and being able to strap on some gear and get down there to see all of the wonderful marine life is quite fantastic.
There are few others done under the water to mention but on top of the water is where the scale really starts to broaden. The list of sports that are done on top of the water are pretty much endless. One common category of these will be sports done in boards. These can range from those that use wind power for sailing and those that use engines in order to whizz around the waves.
Another popular option is definitely surging and this is something that is pretty much done by any country that is lucky enough to have nice beaches with decent waves and weather. In addition to this body boarding is a slightly easier option that you could also try your hand at.
Last of all, you might also think about heading down to the river where there are loads of great options available as well. Things like rafting, kayaking and rowing are all popular options for you to get stuck into.

Stockbridge and Sheffield, MA
In the Berkshires, The Trustees of Reservations own and steward a series of five historic homes, which, together, cover periods in history ranging from the early settlement of the Berkshires by the British in the 18th century to the years of political tension and war of the mid-20th century. We strive to use these sites to educate, tell stories, provide places of beauty and relaxation, provide opportunities to reflect on the past and let it challenge our present assumptions, and to show the public how they can become a part of preserving their own stories and the history of the communities in which they live.
Job Summary
The Historic Homes Educator will present educational programming at Naumkeag, Mission House, and Ashley House.
- Naumkeag (Stockbridge), summer home of the Choate family built in 1885 by McKim, Mead, and White and featuring seven gardens created by Mabel Choate and landscape designer Fletcher Steele
- ?Mission House (Stockbridge), built in c. 1743 as a home for John Sergeant, missionary to the Mohican people of the Berkshires
- Ashley House (Sheffield), built inc. 1734 ?and home to Col. John Ashley, patriot and co-writer of the Sheffield Resolves, and enslaved woman Elizabeth ?Mumbett? Freeman who sued for her freedom from the Ashley family and won
The Historic Homes Educator will have the opportunity to lead school field trip programs; design workshops, events, and educational activities; provide specialty tours; and work with us to enhance self-guided educational experiences at the site. In addition, the Educator may be asked to lend support to special events and other programming when needed.
This position is perfect for someone who has an interest in local history, is excited to engage people with historic sites, is comfortable designing fun and educational activities, and enjoys working outdoors.
The Historic Homes Educator reports to the Cultural Site Administrator and works closely with the Regional Engagement Manager. The Educator will also work closely on joint programming with the Conservation Ranger at Bartholomew?s Cobble, which abuts the Ashley House.
This position is 20 hour per week, May through August, and pays $11-13hr. ?Weekends and some holiday work are required.

Specific Responsibilities
- Lead spring programming for school groups visiting Ashley House jointly with the Conservation Ranger at Bartholomew?s Cobble
- Develop public workshops and events at Ashley House, Mission House, Naumkeag for visitors during the spring and summer
- Provide interpretation for specialty groups visiting the Ashley House and Mission House
- Lead special children?s activities for young visitors to Naumkeag
- Play a supporting role for large public events at the sites as needed (e.g. Mumbett Day, Berkshires Community Day)
- Act as an ambassador for The Trustees (along with other staff and volunteers) at community events and other outreach opportunities as needed
- With staff team, maintain and update self-guided visitor activities for sites
Qualifications, Work Experience, Abilities, and Skills

- Strong public speaking and communication skills
- Creativity, energy, and imagination

Russians rally for Putin ? and 2 days off work

Updated at 10:13 a.m. ET: MOSCOW -- Thousands of people marched in Moscow under Russian flags, balloons and banners on Thursday to back Vladimir Putin's bid to return to the presidency and counter opposition protests that have challenged his authority.
Putin?is running for a third term as president in an election on March 4. The 59-year-old is seen as certain to win, but is facing a strong challenge to his authority from a protest movement that has drawn large crowds to its rallies in Moscow.
The Associated Press reported that most of?Thursday's participants appeared to be workers paid by or dependent on the state, including teachers, municipal workers and employees of state companies.
$67 payment offered
Some people at the rally?told reporters?they were promised two days off in return for attending. Many?were reluctant to explain why they came, The AP reported.
"I came here with friends. They said they would pay each of us 2,000 roubles ($67)," said a 21-year-old man who gave his name only as Alexander. He and his friends were brought into Moscow by bus from just outside the city.
Putin's campaign team, which portrays him as a strong leader and guarantor of stability, has failed to quell reports that many of the people at pro-Putin rallies are paid or coerced into attending by employers and trade unions.

Wearing warm hats, scarves and coats on a chilly national holiday, the participants started marching along the banks of the Moscow River behind a long blue banner declaring: "Our vote for Putin."

"We ask everyone not to look abroad, not to run to the other side and not to deceive your motherland, but to join us," he said from a makeshift stage in a soccer stadium as a light snow fell on his bare head.
But he also warned the West: "We won't allow anyone to meddle in our affairs or impose their will upon us, because we have a will of our own."
If?Putin, a?former KGB officer, wins the election, he will extend his 12-year rule for another six years. Putin was president from 2000 until 2008, when he was barred by the constitution from running for a third successive term, but has remained dominant as prime minister.
The latest opinion poll this week showed he would win more than 50 percent of the votes on March 4, enough to avoid a second-round runoff. His rivals include nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky, communist Gennady Zyuganov and businessman Mikhail Prokhorov, who owns the New Jersey Nets.
