His Points Taken: Should we be concerned about our health?

Joseph was having one of those mornings when he just could not stop coughing, in fact after about 15 minutes of nearly coughing up a lung, he realized that it was time to stop smoking cigarettes. He never thought that beating smoking would be a problem for him and although many of his friends had quit smoking a long time ago, he continued the habit as he convinced himself that he could quit anytime he wanted to. Joseph had been ?smoking from a very young age and his cigarette addiction, like most other people, could be attributed to his mother and a whole lot of peer pressure.

Our health is one of our most important assets which makes any thought of quitting smoking a smart one. As an ex smoker myself I can relate to people ?having a difficult time conquering this addiction and the thought of what smoking would do to me in the morning as I wake up is clear as though it was yesterday. You don't have to be a serious health and fitness buff to understand how dangerous smoking can be for you, all you need to do is remember the coughing bouts where the nicotine you ingested the day before tries to make its way out of your lungs. Some smokers actually want to know how to be healthy and although they try to maintain a smart diet, they are not as successful when it comes to the smoking habit.

Weaknesses can take on many forms with food being high on that list. As we consider the dangers of being overweight, we do what it takes to embark on a weight loss program that we know will work for us. As with anything that affects our medical health, our doctor (and some true friends) will try to explain the benefit of a diet that is full of nutrition and a room that is without the aroma of tobacco. The Eagles program at beatingsmoking.com is designed to shed some light on what makes it is so difficult for the average man and woman to stop smoking, once and for all.
