A vegetation fire occurred Friday evening about 5:20 p.m. behind the Mendocino Community Health Clinic on Laws Avenue. Responders included: Ukiah Valley Fire District, CalFire, the California Highway Patrol and the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office. As reported in Saturday's edition, the fire was contained at 5:49 p.m.
