Microsoft Releases New Windows 8.1 Preview Updates

Software giant Microsoft has released a new set of fixes for its Windows 8.1 Preview OS update, trying to address some of the bugs reported by users in the past few weeks.

The new update release packs four different patches, one of which is supposed to repair an issue that prevents the single sign-on (SSO) service from working with VPN connections that use certificate authentication.

In addition, ListView content should now scroll a bit smoother, while the file search experience on SkyDrive is expected to be faster and more reliable.

Last but not least, the update addresses a bug that repeatedly offered updates for a nonpresent device in Windows 8.1 Preview or Windows RT 8.1 Preview, according to the release notes.

Of course, all patches are being delivered through the integrated Windows Update, so make sure you restart your device to deploy all of them as soon as possible.
